Stanley's Character is Changing!
We characterized Stanley with the one word description "Loser!" last week because he was bullied by kids smaller than him, played with stuffed animals, and had no friends. After being at Camp Green Lake for a few weeks, Stanley has changed.
Give me a one word description of Stanley now and back it up using examples from the book through chapter 22.

Stanley's character is changing by when he came to Camp Green Lake. he came and he liked to help people, he was nice and he was honest. Now he is lying about everything, a even more of a loser and not wanting to help anyone but is being self- confident.
Through chapter 22, I would describe Stanley Yelnats III as helpful because he agreed to Zero that he would start teaching him how to read and write.
Stanley has changed because he used to be a loser but now his heart has hardened.
I would call Stanley selfish, because he told Zero no when he asked Stanley to teach him to read and right. The only reason he decided to teach him was because Zero will dig for a hour on Stanley's hole.
Stanley was always worried to get in to trouble.
Stanley has gotten more friendlier to other people. He has friends that gave him a nick name "Caveman". Stanley didn't have friends before he came to Camp Green Lake but he does now.Stanley has a big group of friends, but he used to not have any friends.Thats why Stanley is more friendlily.
I describe Stanley Yelnats as a lair because when he stole the sunflower seeds the one who stole the seeds was Magnet.
They call him "loser" because he was bullied by kids smaller than him,he played with stuffed of animals, and he had no friends.A few weeks later he change by a boy named Zero and he was his friend.
Stanley has change a lot because he was a loser. Hes tougher than when he started.
Stanley is trustworthy because when X Ray told Stanley to give him what ever Stanley finds and that's what Stanley did.
Stanley changed from a loser to a bully and I can tell by the way he said no to Zero when Zero asked Stanley to teach him to read and write.
When I think of Stanley now i think of one word loyal.Stanley was loyal in of to agree to help Zero to read and right. He was also loyal in of to take the blame for the sunflower seeds.
I consider Stanley a hard heart because he says no to zero.
Stanley's character has changed from nice, honest, and truthful to selfish. Two examples from the story are he said "No" when Zero asked to teach him how to read and write until Zero told him that he would dig part of his hole, and then he would teach him.
I'm from Mrs. Hakes 4th grade class. If i was Stanley I would be really sad and hurtful. I'm glad that Stanley isn't getting bullied. I'm also glad he went to camp green lake. Now Stanley is nice and honest.
